Buck Services Inc. specializes in in school and church maintenance. We have immediate positions available for experienced individuals with good communications skills, valid driver's license, and experience in the school environment. Open 2nd shifts available in several areas. A Custodian by definition: Will have the ability to communicate in English to our client and their staff in order to complete their responsibilities. Will be the point person in charge of the custodial needs during the evening and weekends. Will have the ability to perform all cleaning responsibilities with or without the use of janitorial equipment. Able to assist in set-ups and/or break downs before or after an event. Able to read an event calendar. Has the responsibility to work hand and hand with other staff. Will clean, disinfect, polish and dust all necessary areas. Custodian responsibilities in general terms: • Responsible for scheduled hours per day as written, during the year excluding listed holidays. • Provide emergency clean-ups anywhere on campus. • Check and maintain washroom during the day. • Facility clean up after special events as time permits. Sanitize/Disinfect all high touch points. • Perform cleaning chores, i.e. Perform cleaning responsibilities per the specifications. Dusts and polishes furniture, woodwork, fixtures and equipment. Sweeps, dust mops and wet mops hard floor surfaces. Vacuum carpeting, mats and carpet runners. Spot clean walls and stalls as needed. Remove scuffmarks on hard floor surfaces.
